Danny Trosset
President and Executive Director
Danny Trosset
Danny@sports4thekids.orgDanny was born and raised in Central Florida, and graduated high school from Bishop Moore where he played baseball. He graduated from Flagler College with a degree in Sports Management and Business Administration. After college, he worked for 3 years at the Central Florida Sports Commission bringing and hosting sporting events into the Central Florida area then in 2008 he took the job to be the Sales and Sports Marketing Manager of the Seminole County Convention and Visitors Bureau. Danny currently serves as the Director of Sports Tourism for Seminole County where he currently works today and is in charge of the sales efforts to help bring more visitors, groups, and sporting events into Seminole County.
Growing up as a kid, Danny always played sports. From playing sports as a child to studying Sports Management in College, to now working in the sports events industry- sports has always been his passion and focus throughout his life.
In 2008 he witnessed more children experiencing homelessness due to the struggling economy. He saw many of these children here in our community not given the opportunity to participate in sports because of the cost. No child should be denied an opportunity to participate in sports because he/she cannot afford to pay for the equipment, registration fees, and he was determined to do something about this.
Because of this reason, Sports 4 The Kids was created. Over the years, we have made great partnerships throughout the Central Florida community and have helped provide an opportunity to serve several children in need by providing these children with a chance to participate in sports.
As Founder and President of Sports 4 the Kids, Danny’s primary goal is to develop, operate and manage a successful non-profit organization that over the years will serve thousands of children in need throughout Central Florida by giving these children a chance to participate in a sports program of their choice. His bigger vision is to eventually help other communities around the world develop Sports 4 the Kids programs for their youth population within their respective communities to have a greater impact on the number of children we can help. Every child deserves a chance to participate, and it is the mission of Sports 4 the Kids to ensure that we are giving our children within our community that chance to participate.
