Danny was born and raised in Central Florida, and graduated high school from Bishop Moore where he played baseball. He graduated from Flagler College with a degree in Sports Management and Business Administration. After college, he worked for 3 years at the Central Florida Sports Commission bringing and hosting sporting events into the Central Florida area then in 2008 he took the job to be the Sales and Sports Marketing Manager of the Seminole County Convention and Visitors Bureau. Danny currently serves as the Director of Sports Tourism for Seminole County where he currently works today and is in charge of the sales efforts to help bring more visitors, groups, and sporting events into Seminole County.
Growing up as a kid, Danny always played sports. From playing sports as a child to studying Sports Management in College, to now working in the sports events industry- sports has always been his passion and focus throughout his life.
In 2008 he witnessed more children experiencing homelessness due to the struggling economy. He saw many of these children here in our community not given the opportunity to participate in sports because of the cost. No child should be denied an opportunity to participate in sports because he/she cannot afford to pay for the equipment, registration fees, and he was determined to do something about this.
Because of this reason, Sports 4 The Kids was created. Over the years, we have made great partnerships throughout the Central Florida community and have helped provide an opportunity to serve several children in need by providing these children with a chance to participate in sports.
As Founder and President of Sports 4 the Kids, Danny’s primary goal is to develop, operate and manage a successful non-profit organization that over the years will serve thousands of children in need throughout Central Florida by giving these children a chance to participate in a sports program of their choice. His bigger vision is to eventually help other communities around the world develop Sports 4 the Kids programs for their youth population within their respective communities to have a greater impact on the number of children we can help. Every child deserves a chance to participate, and it is the mission of Sports 4 the Kids to ensure that we are giving our children within our community that chance to participate.
Serving as the Director of Brand Development for the Winter Park, Florida based advertising agency Moxē, Matt brings a passion for sports and Central Florida to Sports 4 The Kids. Beginning in grade school and throughout high school, he played on recreational and high school football, basketball, golf and swim teams. The values of teamwork, competition that he learned playing sports at a young age as well as the importance of exercise as part healthy lifestyle shape his life and family today.
Matt is an active member of the Downtown Orlando Partnership, Florida Citrus Sports and a Charter Member of the University of Georgia Alumni Association in Central Florida. When he’s not in the office or in the community you can find him at home with his wife Lindsay and his son Marshall, cheering, probably too loudly, for his beloved Dawgs.

Shivon was born and raised in Lake Mary, Florida and went to the University of Florida, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. Shivon then went to Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, where she got her Juris Doctor degree. She has been a licensed attorney with the Florida Bar since 2009 and has been in her own practice since 2010. Shivon did grow up with a single mom, so she understands how important programs like Sports 4 The Kids are for underprivileged children.
“Kids really need an outlet to express themselves and in order to foster a healthy, active lifestyle from a young age, it is vital that we help provide these kids with any opportunity we can to participate in sports and activities. I think Sports 4 The Kids is a fabulous program that really provides assistance in an area that is lacking – we are making strides to help kids in school, at home, nutrition, etc., but the physical aspect of their life has not been adequately addressed until your program came around. Sports are a great way to help kids socialize, learn how to work together, learn the fundamentals and importance of teamwork, and learn the importance of being physically active, fit and healthy. I’m so glad to be part of such a great organization!”
